Talked about for years, plans for a massive, 13-story redevelopment of the 2.6-acre Chauncey Hill Mall site two blocks from Purdue’s campus this week will be up for the first of several votes on a project expected break ground yet this year and open ahead of the fall 2027 semester.
The project up for an Area Plan Commission vote Wednesday is one Chicago-based Core Spaces and West Lafayette officials negotiated over the past year, Jonathan Kubow, managing director of development for Core Spaces Chicago, said.
