State Rep. Matt Commons, a Republican seeking re-election after a first term in the Indiana House, faces Democrat Brenna Geswein and Socialist Ben Davis in House District 13 in the Nov. 3 general election.

Commons is a high school teacher and an Army combat veteran who won his first term in the district in 2024. Geswein is an engineer from Lafayette. Davis, an IT specialist from Lafayette, is running an independent campaign.

House District 13 includes a large part of southern and northern Tippecanoe County, along with all of Benton and Warren counties, and portions of Fountain, Jasper, Montgomery, Newton and White counties.
