NEW LAFAYETTE FIRE CHIEF STEPS IN
During a pinning ceremony that at times turned emotional Tuesday, new Lafayette Fire Chief Brian Alkire promised to build on what he called the foundation set over the past 11 years by outgoing chief, Richard Doyle.
“To the Lafayette community, as chief I will work tirelessly to ensure that the Lafayette Fire Department remains an agency that is trusted within the community,” Alkire said. “An agency that is ready to respond to that emergency call in a responsive, compassionate and caring manner.”
