Kindof curious what may be being planned acrross the street from "The Approach" building on Tapawingo. There were for sale signs there for quite some time but seem to have been pulled down. Anyways, another high rise getting rid of those walkup apartments that blight West Lafayette is a good thing.

Those “blight” walk up apartments are considerably more affordable than the luxury apartments planned. I’d rather keep affordable housing rather than another cheaply made luxury building.

The thing is, there is a massive housing shortage, and for a city of this size, rents are too high, even those walk up apartments. As more housing is built, the rents everywhere will naturally go down as there is more competition and less demand.
