It was clear last week that the commission that oversees the historic preservation efforts in West Lafayette was impressed with a developer’s latest effort to rehab and reopen the former Alpha Tau Omega fraternity house near Purdue.
The big question hanging out there, though: Will Purdue go for it, after playing an outsized role in stopping a development there in 2021?
The answer this week: Let’s just say Purdue isn’t exactly excited about the project, but not enough to stand in the way this time.
