A candidate Q&A with Democratic incumbent Kathy Parker and Republican James Waters, seeking the District 5 seat on the West Lafayette City Council.
It is unfortunate that the questions did not elicit the anti-LGBTQ, anti-abortion, anti-tax, and pro-Trump views reported during James Waters' 2020 congressional run ( https://www.ocregister.com/2020/10/01/democratic-rep-lou-correa-battles-conservative-newcomer-james-waters-for-ca-46-seat/amp/ ). Neither did he answer my doorstep questions on several of these points, talking instead about the water issues that WL can't do much about.
