TIPPECANOE COUNTY GIVES SYRINGE EXCHANGE PROGRAM TWO MORE YEARS

Gateway to Hope, the Tippecanoe County Health Department’s syringe exchange program since 2017, was authorized for another two years Monday morning.

Tippecanoe County commissioners voted 2-1 – the same vote as previous authorization proposals – to maintain a program designed to cut down on the spread of hepatitis C, HIV and other communicable diseases via shared needles.
