In a week spent on a Tour of Township Feuds, where two township trustees on either side of the Wabash River have gotten in deep by maintaining to varying degrees that they should run the show, the scene late last week in the East Tipp Middle School gym was a bit of tonic.

Tippecanoe County Commissioner Tracy Brown stood before more than 100 residents of Americus, Buck Creek and Colburn, small communities in the northeast part of the county, and told them that commissioners had heard them.
