Demonstrators confront Sen. Young at Purdue, as pro-Palestinian encampment goes up on campus

Several groups active in recent months at Purdue in calling for a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas set up tents Thursday on the university’s Agricultural Mall, joining similar pro-Palestinian demonstrations on campuses across the United States.
