GRAD STUDENTS QUESTION PURDUE POLICE VISIT TO COFFEEHOUSE AS THEY MADE POSTERS AHEAD OF DELIVERING PETITIONS TO TRUSTEES
This scene at a Lafayette coffeehouse, posted last week by graduate students who have been pressing Purdue for better pay and working conditions, came with lingering accusations of intimidation on – and off – campus.
In pictures posted by students, Purdue University Police Department officers came to the Eleventh House, a coffeehouse that shares space on Fourth Street in Lafayette with The Spot Tavern, as groups gathered to make signs ahead of delivering a petition to university trustees.
