HOW PURDUE CONVOS PLANS COMEBACK, STARTING TODAY: Convos, in a lot of ways after the pandemic shut down touring, is working to get back into the business of putting on shows and events on campus, starting with two days of shows by the rock-and-stagecraft of Pittsburgh’s Squonk Opera on the Purdue Memorial Mall. The shows are free – as are most of the others this fall – as Convos slides campus back into thinking that live performance is still in the works at Purdue.“It’s all about telling people, ‘We’re back,’ ” Todd Wetzel, Convos executive director, said. “We’re ready.”
