I don’t think Cumberland Ave extended to where 231 is not until after 231 opened. The schoolhouse was on the section of McCormick Rd that existed there.
The huge trees there are so nice. Trails around them would be good. I like the natural setting. To your point, can it be protected to stay that way?—Angie

Can we place an old schoolhouse on the corner of South 9th and Beck Lane (across from Armstrong Park) and turn that acreage into a park as well?

Yes it is. That's the point. Why not Bishop's Park? Cuz, otherwise, eventually there are going to be buildings on that acreage.
