It’s your weekly dose of Tim’s Picks
What are you up to this weekend?
Support for Based in Lafayette comes from Purdue Convocations, presenting “Menopause The Musical 2: Cruising Through ‘The Change’” on Saturday, April 25. Reuniting four unforgettable friends on a cruise ship adventure, the show celebrates friendship while tackling hot flashes, mood swings, memory lapses and more — set to a soundtrack of clever parodies of hits from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s. Catch the laughter and heart in both a MATINEE and EVENING performance!

Bonus cut: The first edition of the Downtown Lafayette Live music season will bump from Friday to Saturday evening, due to a stormy forecast. Guitarist Michael Kelsey and Friends will perform from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at Riehle Plaza, Second and Main streets. It’s free. Bonus: It’s in downtown’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA), so drinks are welcome, available for carryout from nearby establishments.
