JUDGE WON’T STEP DOWN, DEFENSE CALLS FOR DISMISSAL OVER MISSING EVIDENCE IN DELPHI MURDER CASE
Wednesday’s court filings marked another busy day in the Delphi murders trial.
First, Judge Fran Gull declined to hold a hearing on a recent motion by the defense team representing Richard Allen that she step down from the case accusing the 51-year-old Delphi man in the 2017 murders of teens Abby Williams and Libby German.
Gull, an Allen County judge assigned to the case, late Tuesday denied the motion to disqualify her from the case “without hearing as the Indiana Supreme Court unanimously denied defendant’s previous request on Jan. 18.”
