I remember growing up here as a kid in the 80's and 90's and teachers putting them down and even telling us not to bother trying to do their music as far back as elementary school talent shows. How I'd love to see them have their names replace Rohrman's name on that performing arts addition and see those old teachers roll over in their graves who were constatntly putting Axl and Izzy down.
I'm guessing they would not have had similar objections to that other Hoosier who was huge in the late 80s. Come to think of it, I knew a teacher who disapproved of "Don't Stop til You Get Enough" as encouraging date rape. She really would not have liked what I was listening to, a lot of Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables and London Calling.

I can think of about three and a half million reasons why that will never happen.
Not sure that Isbell took any performing arts classes. Bill Bailey definitely was in choir.
