LAFAYETTE LOOKS AT MCCARTY LANE INTERCHANGE AT I-65

Lafayette could find out in the next few months whether state and federal officials will allow the city to build an Interstate 65 interchange at McCarty Lane, a fourth exit off I-65 in the city and a fifth overall in Tippecanoe County.

A schematic included in a $3.6 million design and engineering contract shows a pair of roundabouts feeding a proposed McCarty Lane interchange at Interstate 65. IU Health Arnett Hospital is shown on the west side of I-65, for reference. (Image: City of Lafayette)
