NO START/DISMISSAL CHANGES FOR LSC NEXT SCHOOL YEAR
The Lafayette school board pulled the plug, for now, on a plan to alter start and dismissal times across the district to help navigate a persistent shortage of bus drivers.
During a Monday night work session, Brent Clemenz, the LSC school board president, said board members and administrators decided there were too many questions and misgivings about what the district had touted as a three-tier bus system to roll it out in time for classes in August 2023.
