Putting all that sweet corn, basil and tomatoes to work on your table
Yeah! I prefer roasted cashews in my homemade pesto too! Cheaper than pine nuts and a good snack on their own.
The produce reverse burglary is harder to pull off these days with all the cameras 😭
Every summer, I make at least one tomato pie. It utilizes both the gorgeous tomatoes and fresh basil from the Farmers Market.
I also make a batch of rosemary salt- rosemary, sage, garlic, lemon zest & flaky salt. So aromatic!
That's a beautiful loaf of sourdough, Carol! Do you add the corn and cheese during the stretch and folds?
Yes. I do it during two stretch and folds so it distributes well.
I bet it makes amazing toast!
ps, if anyone has too many tomatoes or zukes, I'm happy to take them off your hands lol
