NEW PLAN EMERGES FOR ATO FRATERNITY HOUSE NEAR PURDUE
The former Alpha Tau Omega fraternity house near Purdue is back in play.
More than a year after West Lafayette put the brakes on a proposed demolition of the 100-year-old building and threatened to tag the property as a history structure to make sure it stuck around, the owner of the ATO house presented an adaptive reuse that would preserve the Collegiate Gothic architecture and still make way for a 99-bed project at the corner of Fourth and Russell streets.
