FUNERAL SET FOR BISHOP HIGI: Bishop Emeritus William Higi, who was bishop of the Lafayette Diocese from 1984 to 2010, died Friday. He was 91.
“The Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana has been blessed tremendously with his dedication to serving and leading the people of the diocese and beyond — a true shepherd of Christ,” the diocese office said in a statement this weekend.
