APC ACTION: APARTMENTS NEAR COLUMBIAN PARK, A HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS IN PURDUE RESEARCH PARK, A DAYTON LAND USE PLAN AND A CONCRETE PLANT NEIGHBORS ARE TRYING TO STOP
I fell behind on Wednesday’s recommendations from the Area Plan Commission on some potentially significant projects. Here goes.
A BLOCK OF 4-PLEXES PLANNED ACROSS FROM COLUMBIAN PARK: Rezoning needed for a set of four-plex apartment buildings along a block of Scott Street, set to match one recently built nearby, cleared the APC with an unanimous vote. Kbay East Group, a Hawaii-based firm that in 2017 bought six homes on Scott Street between Sheridan and Sherman streets, plans to build five of the four-unit buildings in the block.
