PASTOR STEVE VIARS, ASKED TO RESIGN, LEAVES FAITH CHURCH
Steve Viars – who led Faith Church and the ministries’ expanding collection of community centers, a school campus and neighborhood renovation projects, as well as being a lightning rod on social and cultural issues in Greater Lafayette – was asked last week by church leadership to resign as pastor.
Viars and church leaders confirmed the move this week, after elders informed the Faith Church congregation about the news at Sunday’s services.
