PURDUE MURDER SUSPECT COULD GO BACK TO STATE HOSPITAL

A former Purdue student accused of killing his McCutcheon Hall roommate a year ago could be heading back to the Logansport State Hospital, after questions about his grip on reality played a role in a court hearing Friday.

Tippecanoe Circuit Judge Sean Persin said during a status hearing Friday morning said he was open to sending  Ji Min Sha, 24, a former Purdue student from South Korea, to the state hospital, where he’d already spent five months earlier this year.
