PRESIDENT MUNG CHIANG GETS 104% OF AT-RISK SALARY: Purdue President Mung Chiang’s first review under a contract that subjects part his salary to a series of annual goals had him getting 104% of the target amount, university trustees agreed Friday.
Trustees said Chiang hit 11 target goals and seven stretch goals during the 2023-24 fiscal year, his first full year at president at Purdue. Trustees said Chiang did not meet one of 20 goals set out for him during the fiscal year based on a weighted set of financial, student-related, research, reputation and other initiative standards.
