Report: Leaked neo-Nazi Patriot Front chats target downtown Lafayette

Media group’s report of leaked chats includes conversations, videos and photos about white supremacist group’s propaganda and plans, including in Lafayette

Interesting reports out over the weekend with a Lafayette twist: Thousands of internal communications leaked from leaders and regional members of Patriot Front, a white nationalist group bent on defacing monuments devoted to racial justice, included conversations targeted at a frequently vandalized downtown Lafayette mural memorializing George Floyd and Black Lives Matter.

Among thousands of chat messages, pictures and videos from across the country uncovered from Patriot Front servers, published by a media collective called Unicorn Riot, a member in Indiana discusses past efforts to paint over the mural at Sixth and Ferry streets in downtown Lafayette.
