Photographer Vincent Walter spent Saturday at Fort Ouiatenon for the first of two days of the 58th annual Feast of the Hunters’ Moon. Here are some of the faces and scenes he captured for Based in Lafayette.

IF YOU GO: Gates open at 9 a.m. Sunday for the second of two days of Tippecanoe County Historical Association’s 58th annual Feast of the Hunters’ Moon at Fort Ouiatenon, 3129 S. River Road, four miles southwest of West Lafayette. The Feast, a re-enactment of 18th century life along the Wabash River, will be open until 4 p.m. For tickets, schedules, Feast ground maps and parking information – both at the Fort and for remote shuttles – check the TCHA’s Feast site: feastofthehuntersmoon.org.
