The temperatures were right. The bands were right. And the rain steered clear of downtown Lafayette Saturday for Mosey Down Main Street.

The stresses and excitement of going back to school were put on hold Saturday night as the August edition of Mosey Down Main Street, Lafayette’s longstanding monthly summer street festival, drew thousands to partake in live music, local merchants and much merriment downtown.
Often the bully of Moseys – the rain – swung and missed on this night. Aside from a momentary drizzle, great weather dominated throughout, helping earn the event an A+. Check out just some of what you missed or remember what you did see. Comment on how you like to Mosey for extra credit.
