IU HEALTH: REGIONAL PRESIDENT, IU ARNETT HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATOR DEPART
Art Vasquez, president of IU Health’s North Region, and Dr. Chris Mansfield, chief medical officer overseeing IU Health Arnett, Frankfort and White Memorial hospitals, were among several leadership changes announced in a memo to local staff late last week.
The memo obtained by Based in Lafayette did not offer reasons for the moves, saying they were departing IU Health.
Profiles of Vasquez and Mansfield were removed from IU Health Arnett’s leadership page this week.
“We don’t discuss individual personnel matters,” Courtney Schmoll, an IU Health spokesperson, said Tuesday. “At IU Health, our focus remains on upholding our organizational values and providing high-quality patient care. We have no further information to share at this time.”
The moves come at time when IU Health is in the construction phase of a $214 million plan that includes an IU Health West Lafayette hospital near the corner of Yeager Road and County Road 500 North, a cancer center under construction on the IU Health Arnett hospital campus in Lafayette and a remodeling of the IU Health Medical Offices on Sagamore Parkway West in West Lafayette for a multispecialty clinic.
