Teising’s attorney: Not sure trustee will testify, as felony trial heads into final day

One final witness remains, prosecutors said Tuesday, in a felony theft case that could cost embattled Wabash Township Trustee Jennifer Teising her job, as soon as Wednesday.
The trial is scheduled to wrap up and go to Tippecanoe Superior 5 Judge Kristen McVey sometime Wednesday. Whether it will include direct testimony from Teising wasn’t clear, with her attorney, Karen Celestino-Horseman, still mulling her options at the end of a second day of the trial.
“We’ll see,” Celestino-Horseman said.
