I believe anyone who is a responsible person, if elected to any jury understands you should not have bias - and if you do you should express it during the selection process.
A few decades ago I served as a jurist on a month-long murder trial in Southern California. The voir dire process resulted in 12 competent jurors who didn't agree on all matters, but who conducted themselves ethically and with a sense of responsibility. No survey would have improved the composition of that group.
