LAFAYETTE CHRISTMAS PARADE VS. BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP: Lafayette City Clerk Cindy Murray was careful Tuesday not to call a late-developing situation with the Lafayette Christmas Parade bad news. But it seems that for the first time in a good while that Purdue All-American Marching Band will not have the slot just before Santa’s float in the parade on Main Street in downtown Lafayette.
