ALMOST HOME HUMANE SOCIETY PLANNING SHELTER NORTH OF LAFAYETTE: Since plans bubbled up about a new community animal shelter – along with a whole new, nonprofit Humane Society for Greater Lafayette – more than a year ago, what the future for the Almost Home Humane Society has been held close to the vest. At least publicly.
Last week, plans emerged for a new location for Almost Home Humane Society, looking to move north of Lafayette near the corner of North Ninth Street Road and Swisher Road.
