Former WLFI-TV18 meteorologist Anne Brown, working in Tulsa, Oklahoma, since early 2021, found herself playing a key role in a story that has attracted national headlines in the past week.
It happened Saturday morning, on air at KJRH, an NBC affiliate, when weekend anchor Julie Chin started struggling to put words together during a piece about an Oklahoma tie to NASA’s planned Artemis launch. According to accounts Chin offered later, she started losing her vision and her arm and hand went numb. Mid-sentence that morning, she told viewers that something wasn’t right and sent the show over to Brown for the weather.
