MIXED-USED DEVELOPMENT COMING FOR OLD GREAT LAKES LABS SITE?
Tippecanoe County commissioners hired a legal firm Monday to help prep county incentives for a proposed mixed-use project near the intersection of Sagamore Parkway and Morehouse Road, on the former site of labs for Great Lakes Chemical.
What’s going at the site, just west of West Lafayette, wasn’t announced Monday morning.
But commissioner Tom Murtaugh said the project would include a mix of commercial and residential, along with a parking garage, where lab buildings were demolished nearly five years ago. (The project would not affect the former Great Lakes offices in the trihedral, Stealth bomber-looking building along Sagamore Parkway.)
