SOME PLANNING NOTES: As friction plays on a West Lafayette City Council request for the zoning code to allow “accessory dwelling units” – a move that could allow smaller, independent residential units on the same lot as a standalone single-family home; also a move not welcomed with open arms by the city’s historic preservation commission (more on that here later this week) – here were a couple of other items worth watching from last week’s Area Plan Commission.
