TSC LOOKS AT $13.2M IN RENOVATIONS AS GLASS CO-OP WITH LSC, WEST LAFAYETTE WINDS DOWN
As the three-district Greater Lafayette Area Special Services cooperative winds down after 50 years, Tippecanoe School Corp. will look to buy an office building and spend an estimated $13.2 million on renovations for its own early learning center and alternative learning center before the 2026-27 school year.
On Wednesday, the TSC school board agreed to work toward a finalized purchase agreement for the Scholer Corp. offices at 111 Walter Scholer Drive, just off Old U.S. 231 South in Lafayette. A purchase price was still being negotiated.
The school board also got a look at preliminary designs of the Scholer facility, which would be home to TSC’s pre-school for 3- and 4-year-olds, and TSC’s Operations Center on Old Romney Road, which would be renovated for the district’s alternative learning center.
