Tippecanoe School Corp. will open Tippecanoe Online Academy in 2024-25, aiming to win back students who left after pandemic – while also staving off need for third brick-and-mortar high school

TSC PLANS 3RD HIGH SCHOOL. THIS ONE’LL BE ONLINE
Tippecanoe School Corp. – the 11th largest district in the state, with 13,760 students this year – will add a third high school in time for the 2024-25 school year, this one fully online.
The TSC school board proposed and approved the new Tippecanoe Online Academy Wednesday night. Shortly afterward, a note from Supt. Scott Hanback went to TSC staff, calling them to “join me in supporting this new, innovative and unique opportunity for our students.”
In part an outgrowth of lessons learned – and hundreds of students lost to other online offerings – during the pandemic, Hanback called the move a chance bring those former TSC students back into the fold, while offering an online high school open to students across Indiana.
