Good reporting Dave Bangert. It appears your article moved people to react, in a good way. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿบ

Assuming good intentions and that a remedy is forthcoming, there still needs to be a post-mortem on this.

Who in "university leadership" or the board of trustees were involved in the decision to cease providing a voting center for a needle-moving 50,000+ students? Mea Culpas need to be issued and decisions need to be made around their continuation in decision-making custodial roles for the university's student population.

Who's going to take the fall for this? I have a vision of a Bugs Bunny cartoon where the sergeant is asking for volunteers and all but one poor schmuck takes a step backwards.

Bravo Purdue, but why wait until the last minute to try and make this correction. Ridiculous, to say the least. How do we encourage our new voters to participate, when a campus of 55,000, the size of a small city. has no voting location, except one early voting center within walking distance?

Purdue administration is mostly just interested in rankings now, and in turn press. My guess is that they โ€œcareโ€ about this issue now because they finally realized that there could be some serious negative press. Thatโ€™s my jaded take on their reaction anywayโ€ฆ.
