WELCOME TO BNDNM GNR8R

When Patrick Barry Brown could barely portray his rock alias, Barry Lee Legal, in his band Three Cities anymore due to COVID-19, he turned to bndnm gnr8r.
Pronounced “band name generator,” Brown’s new project started in April 2021 after honing his home production prowess during the pandemic lockdown. For the past three years, the writing and layering of vocals, guitars, bass, synthesizers, samples and electric drumbeats culminated to the album, “Everyone Needs Therapy!,” due April 4, 2025, digitally. The poppy, soulful debut single, “McDonald’s (FRENCH FRIES !!!1),” dropped Friday, July 5, with follow-up singles to come in early August and September.
“The idea for the album itself was to try make sure everything transitioned, so I literally wrote transitions to try and make everything play smooth and all that,” said Brown, a classically trained guitarist who recently scored two Purdue University student films. “But each song still stands alone pretty well.”
