SWEET 16 TIPOFF FOR PURDUE: 7:39 P.M.

Ready for tonight’s rematch between Purdue and Gonzaga, this time in a game between No. 1 and No. 5 seeds in the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16? Of course, you are. (Purdue won early in the season, 73-63, in Honolulu.) Tipoff in Detroit is 7:39 p.m. on TBS. The winner gets either Tennessee or Creighton in the Elite Eight.

WL CITY COUNCIL MEMBER QUESTIONS SECRECY SURROUNDING $4 BILLION CHIP MAKER NEWS

With reports swirling that South Korean semiconductor giant SK Hynix is prepared to build a $4 billion facility in West Lafayette – the Wall Street Journal attributed it to unnamed sources this week and Purdue and Gov. Eric Holcomb have an announcement set up for Wednesday, based on invitations sent to some local officials last week – a West Lafayette City Council member on Thursday called out why there was radio silence from Purdue and local officials who seem to be in the know.
