Sen. Alting says Trustee Jennifer Teising 'is misinformed on what a public elected servant is,' summons Statehouse meeting to figure out what to do before Wabash Township firefighters are laid off
Very proud of Sen Alting to work on problem. Wabash Commissioner needs to be replaced because of so many wrongdoings. Issues have to be beyond politics.
Will the meeting at the Statehouse deal with a sustainable way to raise adequate revenue for a full time fire-fighting staff with appropriate salary and benefits? Will it examine how many times an emergency loan can be used to support the full-time staff? Will the meeting deal with the legality of transferring funds from the Capital Funds Account to the Operations Account? Will it examine whether the Township Advisory Board adequately informed the public prior to the meeting that it would be transferring funds from Capital to Operations? Can that legally be done? Is it an emergency or a short-term solution? Is this what the taxpayers/property owners of Wabash Township really need to give them adequate fire protection over the longer period?
Alting calls Statehouse meeting to deal with Wabash Township mess, save firefighter jobs

Why has it taken so long for the powers that be to step up and resolve the incompetence of this Trustee.
