Republican politicians force cities to not protect gay people. Because they hate anyone not like them (old, white, men). Also, you know those nice Faith people who have been building things all over the cities to support the community? They also hate gay people, else they would understand that conversion therapy, even when done out of "love", is cruel and dangerous. Again, it says, "Who you are is wrong."
It's astonishing. In the 9 years I've lived here I can't recall any true length of time when either Indiana governments or Indiana culture wasn't saying, in some form, "we don't want your kind here."
