Republicans Tracy Brown and Oscar Alvarez are looking for the party’s nomination in the May 5 primary to take on longtime, Democratic state Rep. Sheila Klinker in the general election.
I find the lack of depth in Shelia’s responses concerning. It’s like she’s just rattling off the buzzword responses that any D would. Good to see Tracy but some thought and time into responding.
Sheila and Tracy have both had to build up and maintain working relationships with all kinds of people over the decades. Turns out the insult comic method of governing doesn't work out so well over the long haul.
Of course, these people have different ideas of what it means for things to work out well. Rokita and Beckwith do fine within the insult model because all they care about is Rokita and Beckwith. Like them, I think Bagsby and Copenhaver care more about themselves than they care about actually governing.
What we don't need is one more voice to go along with whatever nonsense Braun and Beckwith come up with in Indianapolis. It's time for people to start voting for who will listen to their needs and not just automatically choose the person with "R" next to their name. I've voted for Tracy Brown in other elections but this time, something just seems "off" about why he chose to oppose Mrs. Klinker.

It's interesting to contrast Brown's answers here with the empty MAGA insult schtick of Bagsby and Copenhaver in their Q&As
