When a business closes, I lament for the employees who lose their jobs. At the same time, chains like O' Charley's are pretty awful and serve corporate food.

I lament the closing of Graves bakery just below the triple xxx. Their wedding cake was the best in the world and a slice of leftover icing was sinfully delicious. Great loss to all when they retired and closed.

Re: banning abortions in Indiana, "Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita called it “great news for Hoosier life and liberty.” " Unless you're female. This is the opposite of protecting the life and liberty of women.

Shame on the court and shame on planned parenthood for asking for too much at one time. I support PP as my mother did 50 years ago. My opinion is that NO politician or government or sanctimonious MAN or women has the right to play dictator on this issue. You do whatever you want and the leave everyone else alone. If our population had not been so stupid in the beginning of PP, we wouldn’t have all these unwanted pregnancies. Obviously I am not including health reasons or incest or rape. Poor uneducated women have been ignored for decades, when they could have been taught how to prevent pregnancies. Serious counseling and information about birth control and supplies would have taken care of a lot of unwanted births. My mother wore a little round button on her shoulder for years that said “stop at two”. I am going to start wearing it. And for those who already have two kids, then you fathers need to get “fixed”. So start educating people and cut down on the problem, or start paying a special tax to support all the unwanted children that you forced on our society!

Two kids per family isn’t an even replacement rate for population.

People need to be educated better for birth control and making smart choices, but how many kids a family has should be up to the parents with no government interference to try and lower or raise the number of kids born to one family.

Really, you and the rest of the world have as many as you want. We will be replaced by immigrants from around the world. That is fine with me, as my mother was known as the “coat lady” and internationals were a major part of her life. These gracious people appreciated help and love while they were away from their own mothers. Mother died in2008 at 93; so you wouldn’t have heard about her.

My family and I really enjoyed O’Charleys. The cost was better then many other chain sit down restaurants, the food was fairly good, and it was typically not completely slammed.

But the writing was on the wall. We went once over the summer on a Friday evening, 630 or so and our family of 6 got seated immediately. Sometimes we can’t do that at McDonalds.

Comparing going to Texas Roadhouse, on a Tuesday we had to wait 45 min for a table and then it still took 60 min to get our food after sitting down.

I’d rather go to O’Charleys.
