I would love to see a comparison of cost vs. turnout for universal vote by mail.

This should not be a shock to anyone as there was only *one single competitive race* on the ballot. For the most part, it is the parties today that are choosing the winners of elections, not voters. Party-picked candidates means no competition and no meaningful selection for voters to make. Voters today are simply rubber-stamping party selections in grossly gerrymandered districts that nullify the power of all voters. Hence, no voter interest and low turnout.

The way it should be is demonstrated by the single race on this ballot: a young motivated new-comer threw her name into the ring to challenge the incumbents, and she won a slot on the November ballot. We all need much, much more of this in both parties.

Still was a very good service. Polite and competent election officials at the Tippecanoe County Office Building when my wife and I went to vote. I like the idea of vote centers as well as early voting. But I understand the need for scaling down both the number of sites and the days that the polls are open.
